Ten-Tastic Tips for Playing WILD

Ten-Tastic Tips for Playing WILD

Ten-Tastic Tips for playing wild You should try and play one aquatic (water) and one terrestrial (land) environment card in your ecosystem. If you have all four environments in your hand and you have to choose which one to discard then I would discard the lakes and ponds card. The first of two strategies we know of between players in this game is how you stack your discarded cards. The second of these two strategies is to focus on the rare cards. There are few large animal and apex cards in the deck, so you should try to play as many of those cards as possible. The human card is the most flexible. Use it to fill in the gap of a food chain and replace it with an appropriate card when you draw one. Then use it to fill in the gap of another food chain… repeat until you fill all the numbers. Hold onto the Grandpa Strohm card until you have most of your numbers. Then use him to find a number that’s hard to get. Don’t forget about him though. You should check over your cards many times during the game because different cards represent multiple numbers. Many times, these cards can be rearranged to help you win. You should spread your plants out as evenly as possible to ensure your animals have a wide variety of environments to live in. If you’re new to our game, then you should start by playing our Education Edition to learn the basic rules and game-play. Even though my sister and I tried to make this game realistic, there are still...
Fields and Meadows

Fields and Meadows

The fields and meadows card has different pictures of fields and meadows. Three have a picture of a field in the winter. And two have a picture of a field in the summer. The strohmstead can be used for any of the four environments including fields and meadows. The wild card can also be any environment. Where I live we have lots of fields and meadows. Our neighbor has a farm with a lot of fields. My dad took a picture of crows in the field. My sister took a picture a deer in a...
The Strohmstead Card

The Strohmstead Card

During the making of the wild cards for the game my dad came up with a nickname for our section of land, the Strohmstead. Our section of land has a forest, pond, two streams, and a field. That is the reason we included the Strohmstead. What makes this card special is it is all the environments in the game, which means you can play any two plants on this card. It also means that you can move/transplant any of your plants at any time in the game....
A Looong Trip

A Looong Trip

My Trip Over Christmas Break It all started when my parents decided to have a long family trip to see family and get pictures for my game. We hadn’t seen some of my family in long time because they lived a long way away, and my mom and dad wanted us to see them again. We also went because we are making a new “Wild” game in the region South East North America. Our trip started in Harrisburg, PA. In Harrisburg we stayed at our cousins, Michelle, Shawn, Alex, and Ali, and had a blast. Alex is eighteen and Ali is twenty some so we didn’t see Ali, and the only time we saw Alex was a short period of time and then he left to stay at his friends. Most of the time spent there we watched “American Ninja Warrior” while catching up in life, having fun, and eating delicious food. Our trip then took us to Baltimore, Maryland to see an aquarium.  At the aquarium we met up with one of my best friends, Robin, and her family. We spent most of the day at the aquarium. My two favorite pictures from the aquarium are a picture of a giant sea turtle and me running to Robin and her running to me, arms out, ready to give a bear hug. While we were at the aquarium we saw many animals, ate lunch, saw a dolphin show and watched Robin’s little sister, Avery, when she got bored from being at the aquarium for so long.  Overall, we got many pictures and had lots of fun. The trip then took...

The Amber Snail

My favorite picture is the one I took of a snail. I was outside my house when I took the picture. The snail was on our welcome mat in front of our house. It was a perfect shot. It’s in the second edition of our card game. It is also on our business card. My mom’s favorite is the amber snail too. – Maia...
