On the Edge of Tips

Use the biologist to find any animal including humans. Using her to find Grandpa Strohm can win you the game. If you draw Grandpa Strohm at the beginning of the game, use him to find Grandma Strohm. Getting Grandma Strohm means you pick up double the cards that you would normally pick up. Extinction can kill humans also. This method works best when you have the two sisters card out, and you don’t have the web of life out. Invasive plant card is more powerful than the invasive animal card. If you knock out their plants then their ecosystem is crippled. When my dad and I were playing he made my canopy plant invasive and that knocked out my two twenty-three point cards therefore making me loose. If you play the invasive animal card then wait till the ninth or tenth round and play blight on them it destroys your opponent’s...

Can you guess who he/she is?

Can you guess who he/she is?

THIS IS MY LITTLE FRIEND It will be very hard. I’ll give you a hint. It is an invertebrate. We got a new Nikon D330 camera with two lenses. The picture I took was with a macro lens. The macro lens can zoom in on picture so that there’s a lot of detail. Should we put the new invertebrate in the new deck of cards? We will post the zoomed out picture on April 15. GOOD LUCK! –...
Ten-Tastic Tips for Playing WILD

Ten-Tastic Tips for Playing WILD

Ten-Tastic Tips for playing wild You should try and play one aquatic (water) and one terrestrial (land) environment card in your ecosystem. If you have all four environments in your hand and you have to choose which one to discard then I would discard the lakes and ponds card. The first of two strategies we know of between players in this game is how you stack your discarded cards. The second of these two strategies is to focus on the rare cards. There are few large animal and apex cards in the deck, so you should try to play as many of those cards as possible. The human card is the most flexible. Use it to fill in the gap of a food chain and replace it with an appropriate card when you draw one. Then use it to fill in the gap of another food chain… repeat until you fill all the numbers. Hold onto the Grandpa Strohm card until you have most of your numbers. Then use him to find a number that’s hard to get. Don’t forget about him though. You should check over your cards many times during the game because different cards represent multiple numbers. Many times, these cards can be rearranged to help you win. You should spread your plants out as evenly as possible to ensure your animals have a wide variety of environments to live in. If you’re new to our game, then you should start by playing our Education Edition to learn the basic rules and game-play. Even though my sister and I tried to make this game realistic, there are still...

The Amber Snail

My favorite picture is the one I took of a snail. I was outside my house when I took the picture. The snail was on our welcome mat in front of our house. It was a perfect shot. It’s in the second edition of our card game. It is also on our business card. My mom’s favorite is the amber snail too. – Maia...
